Cash Flow for Jesus aims to support missionaries and churches by giving them financial assistance from real estate
It helps churches reach financial stability in time through different real estate investments. In 2003, the Cash Flow for Jesus earned 100% of the profit from buying and selling houses and from the rental portfolio of properties.
Moreover, my goal moving forward is to give tithes and properties to the Cash Flow for Jesus that we had successfully started in September 2013. We want to continuously provide pastors and missionaries with financial assistance from what we're earning in real estate investments. The organization is now praying for more houses to be sold, rents to be collected, and more opportunities to generate funds to support more churches and missionaries.
The Story Behind Cash Flow for Jesus
When my father died in 2000, I took over and bought his company from my mom. Then, in December 2003, I decided to sell the business because I wanted to continue and make it my full-time job in the real estate industry. That’s when I started buying and selling houses and investing in rental properties.
Since then, even though I was so busy, I still spent time attending various seminars to meet some experts who teach people about anything in the real estate industry. Because of that, I had a chance to write a book entitled “Walking With the Wise, Real Estate Investor.” In that book, I wrote about the vision of the Cash Flow for Jesus. It’s the beginning of my desire to reach different churches and missionaries and help them financially in fulfilling their calling in the ministry to serve God.
My initial goal back then was to help one missionary or church every year. I wanted to support them by providing financial assistance for whatever they needed in building their church. We all planned to make these things possible from the profit we’ve been earning from the real estate investments. Besides that, we’re also helping the churches and pastors to generate their own income from this industry. It was a successful endeavor that we were able to help many people with the money generated from buying and selling houses.
However, in 2008, there was a crisis in the industry, and the real estate market crashed across the country. That’s the most difficult test we ever had in our lives, and the number of houses we had at that time dropped tremendously. It lasted for a couple of years, and everyone suffered from different issues with their finances. Besides that, we even lost some houses through foreclosure, sold other properties, and faced various difficult circumstances.
Moreover, the problem we’re facing at that time even got worse when some of our clients filed a lawsuit against us. It really caused more stress, frustration, and even fear to all of us. On top of that, in dealing with the lawsuits for two years, we, unfortunately, lost the case without our knowledge. So with all of those disheartening challenges, determined clients to win the case, and poor representation of our chosen lawyers, we didn’t make it.
It was truly the darkest part of my life. Even the thought of killing myself came across my mind because of what I have been through at that time. Besides that, I also thought of filing bankruptcy for me to start all over again. However, with all of these things inside my mind, I chose to be strong and have a clear head. Instead, those challenges made me motivated to do something, and that’s when I contributed to my book “Walking With the Wise, Real Estate Investor.”
Despite what happened, I continued to go with the vision that I wrote in my book. I started helping new churches and missionaries again. I began to gain strength physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Then, after a couple of years, I was able to stand on my feet and do things that God wants me to do.
The Vision of Cash Flow for Jesus
I strongly believe that God has so many things in store for this vision. That’s why I always look forward to witnessing great things happen in the future. Hence, I will never stop helping those people who are called to preach the word of God to His people, especially those who committed themselves wholeheartedly to serve Him in the ministry.
The purpose of the Cash Flow to Jesus is to help these people preach and build their church with financial assistance from the organization. Our desire is to continuously provide pastors and missionaries with funds that they can use to fulfill the calling that God has given them. With the money we’re earning from real estate investments, we are able to do our part and help those pastors and missionaries fulfill their mission.
We all believe that God is a great provider, and He will never abandon those who believe in Him. Therefore, as we give to God and the ministry, He will always supply all our needs every day, let us enjoy our best health, and make our dreams come true. That’s why we continuously pray for more opportunities to generate funds from buying and selling houses, collections from rental properties, and many other ways we can do to reach our financial stability so that we can support our beloved pastors and missionaries in countless ways.
